Host a Kick-a-thon Challenge

There are over 500,000 US children in the foster care system. We are trying to raise money to find homes for these children. Julie’s Taekwondo school, Kwons Martial Arts in Clinton Massachusetts has had a Kick-a-thon to raise money each of the last two years. We are challenging other schools to join us and have their own Kick-a-thons.

USAdoption Solutions will be supplying trophies and prizes for the top three schools that raise the most money in 2008! Every school that participates will be presented with a plaque that they can display in their studio detailing their participation and how much money they raised. Each student that participates will receive a Kick-a-thon T-shirt.

The task is easy. You just get students from your school to get people each to pledge 1 cent per kick and have each student do 1000 kicks. You could get your whole school to join in and the more you raise, the better your chances of winning Julie's Challenge. You can run your event any day and time you wish. At the end of November "National Adoption Month" the awards and prizes will be awarded. All schools that participate will be put into our newsletter.

We will provide you with a press release, pledge sheets and the T-Shirts. All you need to do to help, is get your students involved in the pledge drive, we submit a press release to your local paper and then have everyone arrive on the date and do the kicks!

The event is a win-win for everyone. It’s a great way for your school to get some media attention and recognition for your support. It teaches your students about helping others, and in the process, you will be helping a great cause.
